Cotton Ball Invitation Design

April 24, 2017

I was thrilled when the Jr. Auxiliary of Greenwood approached me to do an invitation design for their 60th Annual Cotton Ball. The Cotton Ball is a charity event that benefits the Greenwood community and for their 60th anniversary they wanted a special design to commemorate the occasion.

After consulting with them on the theme for the event, we decided on a black, white and gold color scheme. I designed the custom crest using Tombow Dual-tip Brush Pens and Micron Pens, and the hand calligraphy was written using a Nikko G nib and then digitized. These hand-drawn elements were then incorporated into the layout design by P. Press Weddings, who printed the suite.

I had so much fun working on this project for such a great cause!
