

Wedding Trend: Grey Ink
When you get two requests in one week for grey ink, you know it must be trending. Almost eight years ago I printed my own wedding invitations in grey, so the color holds a special place in my heart. I have my invitation framed in my house (something I highly recommend as a wedding present) and admire the crisp yet soft grey letterpress on white paper all the time. The gold ink trend is here to stay, and black is timeless. I'm also doing a wedding next month in navy ink. What

Wedding season is here, which means lots and lots of envelopes for a lucky calligrapher such as myself to address. Spring Break
Still pretty excited that it's officially spring, and the kids and I have gone to my parents' in Alabama for the week since my mom's a teacher and it's her Spring Break. So nice to have a change of scenery for a few days! I've been working while the kids have been busy playing with all of our old toys (so glad Mom saved those). They're so busy getting into everything they can hardly handle it. I'm working today on my calendar for April jobs and calligraphy classes. I'm so exc


Spring is Here!
I love the fresh start of a new season, especially spring with its promise of sunshine, warmer temps and blooming flowers to come! It's raining here today and snowing up north, but I can't wait for days when I can let my babies outside to run around in the yard and get some of their abundant energy out.
